About our team:
Team #8 is formed by six universities spread across America, all cooperating with the current vehicle proposal in order to complete the product proposal.
Our team is focused in the business model of car sharing companies, developing a solution tailored to their needs, but without discarding the possibility of expanding our market reach.
ITESM – Toluca is the Lead university, as well as an engineering university. It is a private university institution focused in entrepreneurship and innovation.
University of Puerto Rico Mayagüez is the CAD leader for the vehicle proposal, UPRM is also responsible for structural and CFD analyses.
Universidad Iberoamericana is an Engineering school dedicated to the suspension and steering mechanism designs for the vehicle.
Centro Universitário da FEI is an institution with great experience in vehicle design for various competitions. They are in charge of the 4 passenger vehicle interior design, and the manufacturing plant and process planning.
College for Creative Studies is the Industrial Design Lead tasked with the design and development of the 2 passenger interior cabin.
Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia is the newest addition to our team, Mauá began working by the end of February of this year in Industrial Design. They are in charge of the production of surfaces for the 4 passenger cabin.
